Excuse the bad photo; the presentation was excellent. Everything was absolutely amazing. But the real superstars are the staff, curry fries, and cocktails. Best fries I've ever had. Exceptionally refreshing cocktails. Unique menu where every option is intriguing and delicious. I can't wait to come back for more curry fries. Dang.
Stopped here today for a late lunch. The staff was great and so was the food. They have a good variety of meals that will leave you happy and satisfied. I highly recommend the chicken cemita, curry fries and bibimbap with Vietnamese chicken. The vibe of the place was so nice on the inside. My one thought was the the food was a little too oily however, it was packed with flavor and I enjoyed every bite which made up for it.
We ended up trying this place since it was a little late and the restaurant we originally planned on closed unexpectedly early. That was fortunate, because we had an excellent dinner here! I got the half-size Mexicali Bowl with pork, which was delicious -- it was pulled pork, and really tender and juicy. Plenty of veggies and beans in there as well. Prices tend to be fairly high here, but the half-size Mexicali Bowl is very reasonably priced, and still a decent portion. My wife got the pozole, which she enjoyed, but it was a bit too spicy for her. Atmosphere is festive, and there's a lot of seating (including an outdoor patio). Hostess and waitstaff were uniformly friendly and efficient. We'll come here again! Update: This place continues to be our favorite restaurant in downtown Exeter. It's consistently good, always with friendly service. The last time I went, I got the loco moco, which rivaled authentic loco moco I've gotten in Hawaii!
My fiancé and I had a wonderful dining experience here. Not only was the staff kind and attentive, but they really made the effort with allergy restrictions. The food and drinks we had were delicious too. We had yuca fries, the Cubano sandwich with subarashi fries and the bibimbap with Vietnamese chicken. I had a hard time picking what to get since everything looked so good and would 10/10 go back.
I've been to Street multiple times and never been disappointed. My latest visit was great as well. We got the curry fries for the table, and I had the Bibimbap with chicken. Our server was terrific, and the atmosphere is always very chill. Can't wait to go back again.
Ate at the Portsmouth location years ago and was excited to try Exeter. Awesome vibe and busy on a Wednesday evening! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The curry fries and Korean chicken tenders hit the spot and were perfectly dressed. Ordered the chocolate caramel bark to go and did not disappoint. Will be back to try more of the menu!!!
Great find! We were looking for a local (no chains) establishment with good food, vibes, and atmosphere. Found it all at STREET in Exeter. We arrived after the weekend lunch rush, and there was no compromise in service or quality. I had the Cubano sandwich with chips and an espresso martini. My family member had Korean chicken strips with fries and a Sprite. The food was fresh and delicious, priced right and portion sizes were generous. The bar drink was well balanced, smooth, and I could appreciate the blending. The menu is playful, fun, and diverse. There is something here for everyone, including your picky eater, refined palate peeps, and those wanting some comforts of home. As my son says, “This place is a banger!”
We had the Porchetta and Cubano sandwiches, my son and I shared them and both were equally delicious for various reasons. The Porchetta heavily relied on the pork and the sear, seasoning and proper cooking of the meat. It pulled apart easily, had a nice thin crust on it and was plenty tender while also juicy. The arugula was a good balance and helped keep the cheese in place. The bread was perfectly toasted and crusty but absolutely fresh like a good hoagie should be. The Cubano had seasonings ON the panini pressed bread that were on point with the rest of the flavor profile of the sandwich. The balance between the mustard, pickles, and seasoned bread accentuated the meat instead of covering it up. Everything tasted and felt incredibly fresh and we look forward to our next stop here when we are in town. Music was the perfect volume to listen and still have a conversation without needing to raise our voices. Edit: I selected the wrong price/person and fixed that. I also neglected to give a shoutout to our server, Mason. Great personality, attentive without being a helicopter server, and was on point with filling our drinks without us needing to ask.
The food and drinks were outstanding, and every visit has been a great experience. Pierce is an incredible bartender who really knows his craft and always makes you feel welcome. On my second visit, the female bartender and server were just as friendly and attentive…they were fantastic as well. Chris, the general manager, also stopped by to check on us, which says a lot about how much they care about their guests. Great food, excellent cocktails, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back!
Food was great and fresh. Our server Hattie N was prompt, sweet and well mannered. It was a pleasure coming here to eat. They also, for kids, had a full size coloring book which we thought was cool! Go here it’s well worth it!
